Sunday Art

Mom wore this to Church  today.

I thought it was so pretty. I was very envious of her skirt but when I asked her where she got it she said, “didn’t you give it to me for Christmas?”

“No, I did not.” I’m probably too selfish to  give up a skirt that beautiful anyway.

“Oh. Well maybe it was Amy.”

At the dinner table I asked Amy where she got it. She glanced at Mom, then stage-whispered, “St. Vinnie’s”

“You did?” Mom was amazed. “But it still had the tags on it!”

Amy smirked.

I love my family.

I also chose today to take some before pictures. See, upstairs in our house there are four bedrooms. Amy’s room, Jenny’s room, Ben and Steven’s room, and the movie room.

See the  thing is, if you have a room like this in your house, it becomes more than just the movie room. It’s the room where we hang  out, and do homework, and store all  the extra furniture that no one else wants.

Yes, that is what it looks like now. That is the before picture. But my spring project is to re-make it into a beautiful bedroom for myself.

The first thing I am planning to do is make over this ugly desk. If you think this desk looks pretty in the picture it is because you can’t see a close up of it’s obviously fake wood.

It’s a pretty shape.

When I am done painting it it will be pretty.

That’s all for now, folks.
