I feel fashionable

Have you noticed the extraordinary amount of pictures on my blog lately? I have a confession to make. All of the sudden I have become obsessed with the blog of Tavi, the 13-year-old fashion blogger. Or is she 14? In any case, very young, and she reminds me of myself only I wasn’t nearly that self confident at 13/14.

Suddenly I have a great desire to become a fashion blogger and post lots of pictures. Of course there are several problems, namely the fact that I don’t have a camera and I don’t have any money to spend on clothes. Well I did have three dollars, which is what I spent Black Friday shopping.

I got a backpack and a short-sleeved sweatshirt with guitars on it. I am already planning a crazy (but modest, of course) rock star look and if I was a fashion blogger I would post pictures but I’m not and so probably I won’t.

When I was fourteen, right before Jr. year, I got a denim backpack at walmart. It has lasted me till now (6 years) and I have never seen a backpack that I liked better. Well today I found one that is identical only much newer. For one dollar and fifty cents. Yeah. Maybe I will be supplied with denim backpack for another six years.

The only other place I have ever seen that backpack is in the movie Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story.

For those of you who are wondering, I think everything will turn out okay in my life. I moved to a different place and this weekend I am actually getting some homework done :).

Also, I am making more friends.

So I have this friend Tony who I probably talked about way back in like, April or something. I haven’t seen him in ages because he goes to a different college now but I was texting him bemoaning my lack of friends and he said, “make friends with your friend’s friends. That’s always a good place to start.”

It was pretty good advice actually. I think I am making more friends. Finally. And the term is almost over. I wish it wouldn’t end so soon because I am just getting into the groove and now I will have to wait until the end of January to do any more school in.

But. It will be nice to get a brand new start and be ORGANIZED.

So besides saddle shoes, which I looked for today and could not find, I have a hankering for red rubber boots.

I am suddenly getting INTO writing like never before and I think I would love to spend my December in a nice place just writing. Hmm I am in a quandary about how to spend my December.

Option A. Go home and get sick (but write too?) and maybe make a little money working for Mom (If I’m not too sick)

Option B. Stay in Virginia and find something to do. Something that involves people. Writing doesn’t exactly involve people unless made up characters count.

Maybe I will start posting A LOT because I am so INTO writing and maybe I will think of some ingenious way to get multitudes of people to read my blog and then perhaps that will lead into me somehow earning money from my blog. They say that some people do. I’m not sure how they do it but I think it would be quite nice.
