Last week I decided I needed to splurge a bit and get myself some comfort food.
I bought cantaloupe and hot chocolate powder. That way, whenever I needed some comfort from my food, I could eat cantaloupe or drink hot chocolate.
I bought myself another cantaloupe this week, but I wasn’t sure if I should buy more hot chocolate. Surely there would be a more nutritious drink out there that I liked just as well. Like, some fruit juice perhaps?
I looked at the box of hot chocolate. One 8oz glass contains 16g of sugar.
I randomly picked up a bottle of cranberry cherry juice. One 8oz glass of that contains 32g of sugar.
I just bought the hot chocolate. Who knew fruit juice can have twice as much sugar as hot chocolate?
